Bacteriostatic Water 10ml
In short
Sterile diluent containing 0.9 percent benzyl alcohol, designed for the safe reconstitution of lyophilized research peptides in vitro.
The most common point of failure when handling bacteriostatic water is cross-contamination. Never reuse syringes or needles under any circumstances. Every single time you puncture the rubber stopper to draw water, you must use a brand new, sterile needle. If you use a needle to draw water, touch it to another substance, and then re-enter the water vial, you will contaminate the entire 10 milliliter supply. Always wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab before every single puncture. The benzyl alcohol inside prevents bacteria from multiplying, but it cannot fix gross contamination introduced by poor handling. Pay close attention to the visual state of the liquid. Bacteriostatic water must remain perfectly clear at all times. If you ever notice cloudiness, floating particles, or discoloration, throw the vial away immediately. This indicates that the sterility has been compromised. Strictly adhere to the 28-day discard rule after the first puncture to ensure the integrity of your in vitro research.
